Village sesame Coated bread

  • Make a village bread dough but in order to shape the bread more easily, use less water to produce a slightly firmer dough
  •   Strew a liberal amount of sesame and black cumin seeds on to your table or bread board
  • Take a piece of the dough and roll it backwards and forwards over the seed mixture to form the traditional sausage like shape of the çörek bread
  • Take a knife and slash the bread at intervals across its width
  • Leave covered in a warm place to prove for 1-2 hours.  while the bread is proving, preheat your oven
  • Cook the breads for 30-45 minutes until a light golden colour.

  •  10 kg flour
  • Home made yeast
  • 2 tablespoons aniseed
  • 1 small spoon powdered cinammon
  • 2 glasses sesame seeds
  • ½ glass black cumin seeds
  • Water as required

Yorkshire Pudding

Yorkshire Pudding

Ingredients:

1 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2teaspoon salt
1cup all-purpose flour
1/4cup reserved drippings from roast or unsalted butter

Preparat¡on:

1. Process milk, eggs and salt in blender or food processor 15 seconds. Add flour ; process 2 minutes. Let batter stand in blender at room temperature 30 minutes to 1 hour.

2. Place reserved meat drippings in 9-inch square baking pan. Place in 450°F oven 5 minutes.

3. Process batter another 10 seconds; pour into hot drippings. Do not stir.

4.Immediately return pan to oven. Bake 20 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F; bake 10 minutes or until pudding is golden brown and puffed. Cut into squares

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate  Chip  Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/8 C flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ C unsalted butter
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together and set aside. Crack the egg into a small bowl, add the vanilla, mix with a fork and set aside. Cut 4 oz of room temperature butter into chunks and add it to a large bowl, then add the sugar and BEAT until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla combination. Gradually add the flour mixture. Stir in 6 oz of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Evenly spread dough on a piece of plastic wrap. Refrigerate for a t least one hour. Score in dough into 12 even cubes. Break off each cube and roll into a ball. Place on 14 x 16 cookie sheet. Bake for 17 – 19 minutes or until just turning golden brown. Let the cookies rest for 2 minutes before placing them on the cooling rack.

INGREDIENTS:

A prepared cake with cacao

A package of chocolate pudding

Milk

Sugar

2 sliced banana

6 packages of kiktkat

3 packages of m&m

DIRECTION:  

Prepare the pudding according to the direction on the package. Add sugar in lukewarm milk. Wet the bottom part of the cake with this mixture. Rub puddingon the cake. Place bananas on the cake. Put the upper part of the cake on this and wet it with milk. Rub the pudding on the upper part of the cake. Divide kitkats from eachother and place them around the cake. Wrap it with ribbon. Put M&M on the cake. Bon Appetite!

                            INGREDIENTS:

1/3 Cup of cocoa powder

1-1/3 cup of flour

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1 egg

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup of granulated sugar

1/2 cup of milk

1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee

1,5 teaspoons of espresso powder

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1 stick butter

                 DIRECTIONS: 

Put espresso powder in the brewed coffee and dissolve it. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt. Mix butter (at room temperature) and brown sugar and granulated sugar with mixer on high speed for 2-3 minutes. Add egg and mix them. Put milk, brewed coffee mixture and vanilla in it. Combine flour mixture and coffee mixture slowly. Cook muffins on 200’C for 17-20 minutes. Cool them completely and frost them. Bon Appetite.
